When you have the opportunity, you absolutely should try this hidden gem of a restaurant in KCMO! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From start to finish, everything about our experience was amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out, whether you’re celebrating something special or just treating yourself. The food is nothing short of spectacular. The Oysters Rockefeller were cooked to perfection—normally I prefer oysters on the half shell, but these were so delicious that I’ll absolutely order them again here. The seabass was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic, and the steak and scallops were cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and beautifully presented. Each dish showed the chef’s attention to detail and quality. The drinks are another reason to come. Even though whisky isn’t usually my favorite, their smoked whisky cocktail completely won me over—it’s easily one of the tastiest drinks I’ve ever had. Pairing that with a 10-year aged port after dinner was the perfect way to end such a wonderful meal. And I can’t forget the service—it was stellar from beginning to end. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s rare to find a place that balances incredible food, drinks, and service all in one, but this restaurant nails it. If you haven’t been here yet, you are truly missing out. This will definitely be a place I return to again and again!

You can taste the quality in every bite from the expertly cooked entrées to the thoughtfully crafted sides. It’s clear the kitchen takes immense pride in what they serve, and it absolutely shows. What truly elevates Bristol Seafood, though, is the staff. The service is top-tier: attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pushy, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience. Every interaction feels sincere, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you feel taken care of from start to finish. They deliver excellence across the board from phenomenal food, outstanding service, to an atmosphere that makes you want to linger just a little longer. It’s a restaurant that sets the bar high and somehow exceeds it every single time. Highly recommended and well worth every visit.

First time patrons. My son's in culinary school so my expectation was high. Everything exceed my expecation! Amazing food, atmosphere and service. We were in town for a concert and the service was quick and helpful, but the star of the show was the FOOD. Fair priced given the quality and quantity. This will be our go to place when we visit downtown KC.

Absolutely 5 stars! My experience here was lovely! The food was so much better than I was expecting, I have eaten filet mignon all over the country & when I say this was hands down the best… I could cut it with my fork! (I’m a medium rare gal) it was cooked to perfection. Lobster bisque was 10/10, the biscuits with honey butter (way better than Texas Roadhouse ;) ) and the halibut, risotto and scallops were amazing! It was so good I went back a second night just to eat there again! Live music on Thursdays is awesome too :) Highly recommend coming here & I will definitely be back next time I’m in town! I wished I caught more pics but I was so excited. - edit: the black magic oysters were out of this world fresh/ delicious too!!

We are from out of town and this was a wonderful experience. Justin our server/bartender was absolutely fantastic! He guided us through the menu and gave great insight to the history of the area and restaurant. From the craft cocktails, house made biscuits to the freshest oysters and seafood and best lobster bisque it was just delicious and worth every penny. Highly highly recommend !

Danielle is an amazing, wonderful server! The seafood mixed grill was cooked perfectly, and so delicious! And the remoulade sauce is so spicy good. The biscuits are yummy! The cheesy cauliflower was superb! It was my birthday, and every server to our table greeted us, very warm and friendly, & said “Happy Birthday!” The atmosphere is great, a bit noisy because it was quite busy, to be expected, with all the satisfied customers! The chocolate dessert with raspberry sorbet is the best we have ever had! We will definitely be back, thank you for the awesome dinner experience!

I had an incredible dining experience at Bristol Steak & Seafood with special friends before they pcs The hot sampler, salmon meal, and pasta dish were all absolutely amazing perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The drinks were refreshing and well crafted, and even the bread was delicious and memorable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality dining experience!
